AUCC Academy contains a preschool and daycare program that uses a state-approved, research-based curriculum called Tools of the Mind. Our mission at AUCC Academy is to foster the creativity and intellectual development of children in a safe and healthy environment. 

Tools of the Mind meets all state and national standards while teaching children about various subjects.   In the curriculum, every single activity is designed to give children practice in developing self-regulation. This allows children to develop the tools necessary to self-regulate while learning letter names, counting, and engaging in make-believe play. Play is a big aspect that makes Tools different—make-believe play is a focus. We know that children do their best to learn when engaging deeply in play.

AUCC Academy is proud to work in partnership with the Teaneck Board of Education to provide Pre-K for our families in Teaneck. At AUCC Academy, our state-licensed teachers implement the Tools of the Mind curriculum in the daily schedule of our students to ensure that every moment at school is filled with excitement for learning.   

The Pre-K 3 and 4 Program through the Board of Education is free to all Teaneck families. To join the program, you must apply through the Board of Education.  Pre-K is from 8:20 am to 2:20 pm, and before/aftercare is available.
